When I was 14, I saw someone creating an application by coding. It sparked my interest and decided to pursue a Programming degree. That year, I learned the basics using Visual Basic and successfully created my first game-inspired program.
I joined a club during my senior year. A friend invited me to run for a position, and I became the vice-president. Sadly, I couldn't do much due to the pandemic outbreak.
Before starting college, I experimented by following YouTube tutorials and successfully created an Image Recognition project using OpenCV and Python.
I enrolled in BSIT specialized in Web and Mobile App Development. I encountered programming languages like Python, C++, and Java.
I led our team "CodeBrew" as the Project Manager during our thesis. It strengthened my public speaking and leadership skills.
I deployed my first web and mobile app for our client, buying a domain and hosting for it. We successfully defended the project and were nominated for 8 awards!
I landed my internship at World Vision, contributing my IT skills to support children in need. Their mission aligned with my passion for using technology to make a positive impact.
Throughout my college, I took several certifications to further enhance my skills. Here they are:
